If you have a rev counter i.e. mechanical there will be a thick flexible =
cable like a speedo cable going to the engine.  MGBs got the electronic =
tach in 1964, for what that's worth.

Other than that it depends if you have any other electronic stuff like =
ignition (probably unlikely) or radio.  Radios in a car not touched for =
that long could well have a polarity reversing plug.

The heater fan may reverse and work less well, but if both wires going =
into the motor are the same colour with no identification stripe on one =
of them then probably not.

The wipers may park in a slightly different place.
