Hi Armando-Sounds more like tappity valves than engine knock to me Armando.
I thought knock was observable under normal driving conditions.
The people I know that work on LBC's for a living really love octane
additatives. Apparently they can really gum up an engine making lots of
work for them. On another list (British-car)there has been some discussion
about the new gasoline formulations being introduced in California perhaps
this is contributing if your problems are of recient origin. Oh yeas and
the answer is Little Richard whooooooooooooooo.
