Melvyn Rutter has catalogued a wiring loom for the 4-speed Plus 8 at 149
Pounds Sterling. I've seen his loom sets in his shop and they look pretty
much like the originals. Figure on about a week or less for air mail
delivery.

I too have had the good fortune of having the facia out of my 1970 4/4 when
I resprayed the metal centerpiece with krinkle paint. Fortunately I had
done this to another car several years before and knew enough to make
myself a map and mark all the loose pieces of spaghetti. On the 4/4 the
general wiring is quite basic and other than necessary upholstery removal
shouldn't be outrageous. I'd hate to try it on my '92 Plus 8 though. I am
going to have to attack the reversing lamp switch though which packed it in
after only 5000 miles.
