Don't the styles of autos reflect the style of the times? Why do
the cars of the twenties and thirties still give people a thrill? Even
thoses of us that were not around in the twenties.
I thing the late fiftyes aand early sixties were the same. Cars all
reflected a search for a new style, and new idea.
I'm afraid we lost track of the search in the 70's and 80's. Every
manufactuer tried to made their car look like the other guy. That's why
I'm dissapointed in the new Audi TT, it looks like a Beatle.
Lets all hope that now is a time of devolping some new ideas in auto
design. It gives us so much to talk about, and enjoy.
