Hi Guys & Gals,

Anytime you have a group larger than one person, odds are you could have a
difference of opinion.
"I like a difference of opinion. It means that everyone is getting involved
& no one feels left out"
-Jimmy Stewart from "Harvey".

I'll answer below. Lest the thread might die!

Wrongo, bucko!
Not controlled by me at all! That's the point - any member uploads material
of interest. My only function is to get it started & to "bounce" anyone that
can't resist obscenity or blatant character assassination. It already is
International (check the locales of members). You're right it was
unilateral, tho. Could call that INDIVIDUAL initiative, doing something I
was capable of doing.

Co-Founder of the "Morgan Regalia Collectors' Society", Win Sharples (anyone
know him?), created said society with a world mandate. Read Bowden's book,
page 283, which states: "it is the only true international club". Win did
this with zero group input from this group (or any club) as well (shall we
crucify him?). MSCI is international in the same sense, but not a club - a
community of enthusiasts. It could be a happy home for you, depends on how
lavish your preference in accomodations!

It's personal alright. Whatever each person can contribute, when they wish.
Maybe not a lot of material yet from members here, but some persons outside
of this list have made contributions. The examples I posted were meant to
inspire.

"Let's send it to a committee. Create a Board. Nominate lots of people (who
have failed to accept)...."
Is it better to sit on our hands & wait for someone to create it? Go ahead.
Create such a thing just for this email group. I'd like to see some
agreement! I hope the MSCI experiment serves as an example. But I don't see
MSCI being mutually inclusive just to the membership here. That concept is
open to ANY individual, ANY club, ANY Mog biz.
The site doesn't need lots of "hits". Maybe not lots of members. Just a few
with some links, photos, articles, calendar dates, etc to share. I don't see
myself as a splinter. A thorn, maybe....

I actually yearn for the simpler good olde days when enthusiasts simply got
together - open to all (not "members only"), shared info, cameraderie, a
picnic - before there were big clubs, dues, glossy newsletters, rules,
Executives, "gotta make more money" events & plenty o' politics! Check out
the List Quest database for my postings from a year or so ago.

Figure out what you want. That's your right. Anyone can unilaterally set up
a web site or do anything they wish to do for the freedom of communication &
expression that is our right. Our forefathers, siblings & others have fought
& died for that right! Lest we forget.

You may be right. Human nature is all that. That's why amalgamating a bunch
of existing formal clubs will be a tough go!

My intent is not to change this group. It is to offer another venue for
input & communication in ways that are limited here or impossible on this
list.
