Hinges were tight both in the hinge pin and the mounting screws. Got out and
dug in last evening. Removed interior liner and found the wooden framing
that supports the dash has dry rot at the fire wall. That appears to be the
source of the increasing droop. Will get some ash and try to implement a
repair.
