Tony,

Should anyone have the time to take the trouble to have BOTH shows
copied and converted to NTSC format, I would very much like to have
copies.

For years friends of mine within the British Auto Industry have described
for me the stir and impact of that original broadcast. It has become a
LEGEND, and not just in Morgan circles. (It would appear that we
Americans share our love for the successful under-dog with our British
cousins.)

It would also seem that the Aero 8 was successful in stealing the
Geneva Show (by all accounts within the press and elsewhere). While
this result may have been due to judicious timing on the part of MMC
and a lot of luck, the second show has the potential for creating
a similar ripple. Congratulations to all at MMC are in order for
having pulled off a launch which may have exceeded their wildest
expectations.

While the current range is not immediately affected by the Aero 8
launch, the car has obviously been designed with a view to meeting
all future regulatory requirements regarding safety and emissions.
It is those elements of the Aero 8 design which will eventually need
to be blended into the current range. You can imagine that MMC will
do this in a unique manner familiar to many. Should the marketplace
call for cars shaped more like the Aero 8, some of the bodywork may
evolve along similar lines. However, nothing too very radical HAS to
occur for some time if you consider that the new four-seater is also
able to meet many of the same regulatory requirements.

Long live the Morgan Motor Co., and may it receive more kindly and
benevolent treatment from BMW - Rover Group than have some of
it's "units" lately!!!
