Joe,

You could very well be right;  I'm at the lab and the Morgan is 15 km from
here.  Anyway, it's on one of the cross members.  I'll check tonight if we
don't get a definitive answer by that time.

        You said the serial was on the cross member 
        "in front of the seats"?  I thought it was
        the cross-member "behind" the seats.
