I recently completed a Morgan-hunting expedition.
The best resource I had was Hemmings online classifieds on
the web at www.hmn.com/hemmings/searches/menu.cfm.
This is where I found my 57 4/4 in South Carolina, and it was
not listed in the paper version of Hemmings. This is because
the online classifieds are free. They usually have about 50
Morgans listed and you can customize your search to look for
specific year ranges or models. I was interested only in pre-
1975 models so that I could get historic registration and this
was a big help.
A lot of the cars listed are at antique car dealers. Beware of
New England Classics in particular. They buy cheap cars, mask
the faults and then sell them for high prices.
I would also subscribe to Hemmings for the paper listings
while you're searching. It has many Morgans not listed in the
online ads (or visit your local magazine rack and read the
one page of Morgans there like I did).
The next best list was the online "for sales" of the Morgan
Plus-Four Club of Southern California. They maintain a list
of ads combined from newsletters and other sources around
the country. They make an effort to keep the ads current too.
The website is at www.mog.org. Look for the "For Sale" link
on the home page.
The GoMoG site may also have some listings (but I can't access
it myself). It's www.GoMoG.com.

about this. Ideally I'm looking for a Plus 8, although
surprisingly I've
found several of these for sale. Alternatively, I'd like a 60s or 70s
2-seat car. Currently I own a 70 MGB and an 80 TR8 (right
engine, not quite
the right car). I'm not too concerned about where the car is, but the
right-hand side of North America would be preferable.
