I am doing another Gemmer conversion (92?+8) right this moment. Have the new
box from Linda in hand...
Gemmer boxes are made in France and I am sure that they are adaptations
of some production box used in other vehicles. No idea what though.
While pricy.. the price is about the same as I paid for my first Gemmer
ten+ years ago.. In fact the price from Linda (Morgan Spares USA) was
ever-so-slightly less than I paid Melvyn years ago. I still maintain that it
is one of the single most dramatic bolt-in modifications you can make to an
older Morgan. Ask anyone who had done it. Awesome!! The car finally steers!
It totaly changes the car. I know that it seems pointless to many- to spend
money to get the car to do what it already does.. but I stand by my old
quote- that you don't steer older Morgans, you just suggest that they change
direction. A Gemmer will change that.
