Hey gang,

I received to following email the other day:

Subject: Ignition Light

After reading your interesting article re charging circuits etc on the
Morgan I was wondering if you could enlighten me as to the purpose of the
central red light on the dashboard of my 1971 4/4.I am familiar with the
ignition light incorporated in the speedo dial which goes out when the
battery is charging but do not understand the light that comes on with the
ignition and then after several seconds starts 'winking'.
Excuse my ignorance, maybe you could help/

Off the top of my head I can't answer his question. I thought it was the
"ign" light. I don't remember an idiot light on my speedo. So I'm assuming
that this is a change from the cars of the 60s. Can anyone help Janson
out?

John
