Since the liner is probably as bad as the piston and you will need new
pistons and liners, I would unbolt the conn rod and remove the liner, along
with the piston and rod. Once the assembly is out, soak it all in a bucket
of diesel fuel for a few days and have a local garage or machine shop press
it out. Good luck.
