Many years ago an old capitalist of Tex Mog encouraged Morgan Owners to join
the club with the statement that in his experience, marques with a strong
active club seemed to garner a greater demand for that model and as a result
higher prices.
Prior to 1990, cars like the Amphicar and other Microcars where really
'give always since there were so few that a local club or organization
would be limited to a couple of owners.
With the widespread growth of the internet, the few wide spread owners could
easily communicate, exchange, buy and sell parts. With this help, more cars
were completed, shown in public and as a result a demand for them rose.
In 1990 a nice running Isetta (if you could find one) could be had for
300-600 dollars. Few took up the offer since no one knew where to get parts
or advise on keeping one running .
Today a running Isetta will bring 6000 to 16,000 dollars . Do a search on E
BAY of Isseta and boy will you be shocked at the parts and stuff available
for a car that few remembered. A search Engine will bring you, bulletin
boards, stories, pictures etc of a car that has to have a very low ratio of
runners per square mile.

What's all this got to do with Morgans ?
Uhmmmm???? Maybe a reason to thank people like John Blair ( Team.net), LD
McLaughlin (Morganville)and Lome( GOMOG) . They have helped many with the
easy exchange of information, and advise. And for all you CAPITALISTS out
there, they may not have add money to your bank account, but they surely
have contributed to the increased value of what you keep in your garage.
