Hi, I have enclosed a picture of what I think is an original tie down for
Morgan 6 volt dual batteries

length of rod is 11.5 inches overall, with last inch bent over into J
hook just over 90 degree bend. this is at the top

at the bottom is a wing nut its threaded 1 1/8 inches up the bottom with
wing nut on it.

diameter 7/32 round rod.

this passes through the tab of the battery, then the wood floor, a strap
of metal 28"long 1.5"wide and 3/32 ?alloy vs metal runs under the
battery boards side to side underneath and a wing nut holds it down
tight under the car. There are four of them two for each tab set on the
car.

anyone seen this before? I found this in my morgan pile of bits and the
car had only 18036 miles on it.
