My experience is that VW wheels with the correct bolt circle (4 lug Beetles)
are too far offset to use on the Mog. They will foul the chassis as I recall.

Should you wish to keep the Morgan wheels, they can be widened either by using
a wider outer rim or by adding a widening strip of metal to the center of the
outer rim to increase the width. I had a set done quite a number of years ago
and brought the width to 5 or 5 1/2" as i recall. A local racer type did mine
and guaranteed that they wouldnt leak air. However one caveat to consider is
that the early 60s Morgan wheels may not be safety rims and therefore the use
of tubeless tyres may not be recommended.

As Chas points out the VW type rims would probably
bolt on. IMHO I would offer that they would look
quite out of place on your early Morgan. I happen to
think the steel wheels and hub caps look quite nice.
However if you are determined to look for something
else, I would try to contact American Racing or
Panasport and see if they would simply drill a set of
period style alloys for your Morgan or perhaps they
would have some listed as after market for VW's.
