Hey guys-
I've got a chance to buy the running gear
(rolling chasis complete minus engine and tranny) of a 56 NAPCO GMC
'burb. The guy selling the truck says it used to belong to Steve
McQueen. There's a
picture of a 56 NAPCO burb in the October '95 issue of Pickups and
Panels in Print identified as McQueens old truck. It looks like the
front axle doesn't have locking hubs on them. Did the NAPCO setup come
without locking hubs as well as with locking hubs? Also, will modern
hubs work on these axles if they don't have locking hubs?
