A friend of mine has a '48 GMC 1/2 ton and it has a very interesting
headliner. The headliner is made out of aluminum, it is kind of textured
(checkered pattern). He told he got the truck with that headliner almost 20
years ago. I think it looks kind of cool. I don't know if this is an original
or after market option.
