Hey everyone,

I have a big favor to ask anyone out there, and a couple of questions...
1) Does anyone have an extra GOOD carberator that they would be willing to
part with? I am running a ?55? 235 ci with the stock intake and exhaust
manifolds. I have done everything thing I can to save the old 700 series "c"
type rochester carb that I am running. I have adjusted the float a little
lower than spec'ed in the up position, because of sepage around the top of the
bowl. I used an rebuild kit that had two gasketts that you could use, but
even with both of them in i have some major leakage and flooding of the engine
after a few minutes of ideling?!!!?!!!? any help thoughts would be
appreciated. (yes, I did check to see if I put the needler valve in correctly
:^) .

2) My '47 -2 has 10 springs on the passenger side front and only 9 on the
driver's side? - any ideas.

And an Update!!!!!! - It apears that the VDO guage kit that I got for the
"Green Beast" is not going to be all that hard to put in, I have decided to
pull a few boards out of the bed so as to get to the gas tank easier the
sending unit that came with the kit seems to be just the right size for the
hole in the top of my tank!! :^) !!

I love the cockpit white set that I recieved from United Speedo.
TIA
Casey
