Hello fellow oletruckers, you might have noticed that I haven't been very
talkative of late, and that I missed the big portland swapmeet last weekend.
Actually I am way behind on mail and most recreational things due to my
current work load. Dooms Day Alpha* for the Y2K hit last friday and I have
been scrambling to fix things before it hit and taking care of the after
maths. I've barely had time to administer the list let alone read the
messages. Hopefully things have calmed down a bit.
I also have a friend that is looking to sell his truck. I've seen it and
its a beauty. Here is what he has to say about it:
For sale: 1953 Chev pickup "show truck", rebuilt hydraulic 235, stock
tranny, newer rear end. Beautiful restoration with Dupont Chromabase paint
(never buffed!), reupholstered interior, new bed, many custom features.

*April 9th, is the 99th day of the year. Some databases keep track of the
date by days of the year and year number, so today is 10599, April 9th is
9999. 9999 is also the "end of data" string in those same data bases.
