Hi Jerry,
Why are you changing frames, is the stock one totally shot? I would
personally recommend modifying the stock frame rather than try to adapt
to a newer one. If it's just for a better and safer ride, try either a
frame clip or a Mustang II front suspension, and different rear springs.
My '48 has a MII front end with Camaro discs, and a 10-bolt rear end on
D*dg* Caravan springs. After 2700 miles of daily driving, the ride is
fantastic, and it stops as well as it goes. Putting a power rack on
makes driving even easier. You can check out my truck on my website.
