I have experience with Carter YF , the rochester and zeineth all on the
same engine in the same truck. Of the three the, YF gave the best fuel
economy and power. The YF is more complex and subject to wear of the
metering rod/jet and vacuum piston, all of which can cause either
hesitation or poor fuel economy if worn. Make sure it's a good rebuild by a
reputable rebuilder. Rebuilders are not all the same!
