I don't know what year they started using side mounts, but you can get a
"ZZ4" short block (or most other production small blocks) from your local
Chev dealer and it will still have the front mounting bolt holes. ( that's
what I'll be using in my '56 napco 4x4) The new breed of SB's don't have
the front holes anymore (98 - 99)
