Dustin, The GMC books don't break down as far as the chev's. I got this
information came out of a 1954 Gmc parts book.
102-22= tells us that it is a 125 1/4" wheelbase half-tonlong wheelbase
with a 228 ci engine.
P 62869= This is what gives us 1953 as the year model.
