Yes, I did take in old glass to use as patterns.  The driver door glass was
severely cracked and, by the time I got it out of the frame, several large
pieces were missing from the bottom edge.  This did not seem to bother the
glass cutter.  The new clear glass is so pretty I will probably have all the
remaining windows cut.  This is a bunch for my '50 suburban but the fresh
glass just looks too good.
