Sitting here on a Sunday afternoon trying to put together a game plan for
my '58 Chevy 3100. I currently have an all-steel project, the truck first
appears as being in great shape....although as one gets closer the cancer
becomes more apparent. Anhow, over the past few years I have purchased an
additional front clip, several hoods and now considering fiberglass rather
than patching together much of my spare parts, knowing they all need
repair.

I have been to several car shows over the past year and have noticed the
increased use of fiberglass front clips, fenders, etc. they seem to fit
quite well, but have always wondered about their performance under highway
conditions @ 65 mph. Is buckling a problem? I do know that this would be
a cheaper option in the long run but am concerned about durability.

Any thoughts?
