Grant had a bad experience with Jim Carter and no longer uses them. Far
be it for me to try to tell a much respected oletrucker like Grant what
happened in his case, but I would like to point out that there is a big
difference between a company culture of incompetence (Golden State) and an
occasional poorly thought out response by an otherwise good vender.
I'm in business myself, and there are customer transactions that I wish I
could live over again because I did or said something in haste that later in
retrospect, late at night, seemed wrongly handled. I hope my customers will
forgive my occasional blunder or bit of ill temper and view me and my company
in totality.
Grant, I don't mean to say you should kiss and make up, only that if your
experience was an isolated incident it may really be worth viewing with the
old Nelsonian eye.
