I used a spray bottle with water in it. I thought ammonia was an acid.
Will it prematurely deteriorate the headliner?

Guys and Gals:
I am getting ready to install the cardboard headliner on my '50 and I
read somewhere that you could spray the backside with ammonia
to make it flexible. You stick it in, form it the way you want it, then
it dries. Has anyone tried this? Does it work? Other suggestions?
Thanks!
Joe
