A friend of mine just gave me a '41+ Chevy pickup and I am trying to
find out what year it is. It has the chrome grill and trim which I am told
was only in '41. Do any of the numbers on the id plate tell me the year ?
The truck had a 327/350 trans dropped into it (no plumbing or wiring).
I am planning on completing the job (w/the V8) and turning it into a daily
driver with
upgraded suspension but stock bodywork.
I have seen several different kinds of ifs front ends. Any advice
about which one may be better than others (Fat Man, etc.)? What about rear
end suspension: New leafs or coil overs?
I have never done a street car/hot rod/resto before and it looks to be
