GMC shop manual says 25-30 ft/lb on two front and two rear nuts (thick
washers/nuts on studs) and 15-20 ft/lbs on inner studs with bowtie
clamps/nuts. This is for all 6 cyl engines. 235 should be similar.

the shop manual.
