I would suggest that the plan be revised to  allow for the hoisting beam to be 
supported independently from the structure in that type of building. A greater 
load can be supported from a few columns under the beam with lateral bracing 
than could ever be held within the standard framing. The cost to modify the 
structure to allow for the additional load
would get out of hand very quickly.
