Leah,
The easiest way to tell is to look at the valve cover. If the valve cover is
held to the head with 2 bolts through the top, you have a 216. If the valve
cover is held to the head with 4 bolts around the edges, you have a 235. Of
course it is possible to swap valve covers, but that probably did not happen
to your truck.
