I need some help again.
I am putting a '55 2cd 235ci engine in my '49 3/4 ton Chevy pickup.
What new motor mounts do I need to get? Front or rear? Can I use the
216 motor mounts or do I need to get 235 mounts? I read somewhere that
the motor mounts are a little different on a 3/4 ton pickup.
Also the oil pan on the 235 had some pinholes that showed up after
cleaning. Will my '49 216 oil pan fit on the 235? I am using the 216
bellhousing, flywheel, and clutch on the 235.
