hello list,
i will soon be aquireing a 1955 Chevy 6400. it has the original, non-oil
burning, smooth running, instantly started, 235 with oil filter in it. i
wish to eventually replace this engine with a older straight 6 CAT diesel
with mechanical injectors. how difficult would it be to put this engine into
this truck? i can make my own engine mounts from 1/2" steel plate, but will
i have to modifiy the cab, fenders, frame? also, can i mate a th350 to the
235? how bout the CAT?
