Hi All:
In reference to the paint. I can testify as to the color on a 1954 only.
Just took my 54 apart that I am restoring and it still had the original
BLUE hidden on the bell housing, where the number is. I am quite sure it
is original. It looked as good today as it did the day it was painted.
Back then, they sure done a good job of sealing things up..
Am not sure but I imagine the engine was blue too. Would like to know
for sure.
