John was nice enough to offer access to his BIG GMC manuals, so
the least I can do is the same for TF GMCs.

I'm not interested in selling either, but if any of you need
to look up information in any of the following please let me
know. I could also scan a few pages for you if needed.
Here are the manuals:
        GMC Truck Master Parts Catalog
series S,T,X,Y (55.2-59) models 100-970 diesel and gas
Actually, this also covers the 1960 model, but I try
to ignore it. This book is over 3 inches thick and
includes drawings of weird stuff like the 1958 "utility"
model GMC pickup with the funny single headlights,
grill that looked like it was made from hardware cloth
                and a Chevy dash.
        Hydra-Matic Parts Catalog
Cadillac, Chev Truck, Olds, Pontiac and GMC Truck thru 1957
Also has a part number cross reference for Lincoln,
                Nash and Hudson.
        CANADIAN GMC/Chevrolet Truck Parts Catalog
                models 13xx,14xx,15xx,16xx,17xx,19xx,93xx,94xx 1955.2-57
        Hydra-Matic Maintenance and Overhaul (1957).

The books are at home, so e-mail response will be next day (at best).

I just want to let everyone know I have the following manuals for large
GMC trucks.
I 'm not interested in selling them, but if anyone needs some
information from them I'll be happy to help out.

Maintainance Manuals:
1942 models 500 through 890 (should apply to most art deco years)
1950 models 400-470 (should apply to most advance design years)
1950 models 529-970 (should apply to most advance design years)
1954 models 529-970 (advance design, but has the power steering section)
1955 models 550-970 supplement (used with the 1954 manual for the first
task force year)

Parts Books:
1939-1948 models 400 through 970 series A,C,& F
1949 models 520 through 970 series H
1955 models 550 through 970

My Napco question: Did Napco make the front driving axles for the larger
GMC's? I'm Keeping an eye out for an original front axle and transfer
case for my '52 GMC 640 22,000lb GVW.
