I haven't tried it...but I know someone in town
who's putting late model (1999) aluminum wheels on
an early 70s Chevy 4x4. The bolt pattern seems to
be the same, but the studs/nuts are different (the
nuts have a larger tapered part, and the studs are
bigger diameter. Also, the offset is probably
different, so clearance on the inner side may be a
problem.
My wife has a 99 Silverado, I guess I could just
pull a wheel and see how it fits on one of my
59s...if you want to know for sure if they'll fit.
