Be VERY careful about taking a scan or image from the net and thinking it
will be the correct size on YOUR printer. I work in the PC business and had
a very bad experience with one customer who was getting parts remanufactured
overseas. His people thought that since they scanned something it is the
exact size of the original. Well they have 200,000 parts that do not fit
that they had to get reground. Just a friendly warning.

If you can find the scan as a "viewing template" for the layout work and the
exact measured size then a glass shop could make it to the correct
measurements.

I'm going to be replacing the glass, maybe I should just break it. The only
reason I was going to try and save it was for a pattern for the new glass.
Are there any patterns on the Internet? Or if anyone has any that they could
scan? The left and right vent window glass is the same, right? When I get
new glass, should I try and get a specific brand/type? I was going to stick
with what I had, two pieces stuck together (double pane?) with the
laminent(i think?)

Very carefully
Get two pieces of flat bar about three inches long wrap friction tape around
both ends of both bars, about 4 wraps each put the bars on each side of the
glass, get a pair of vise grips clamp them to the bars and start working the
glass very slowly pulling outward with one hand and using a small
screwdriver working the tip in the top and bottom of the glass and channel,
that's where you have to be carefully because you can break the glass if you
put to much pressure on the glass.
Good luck it worked for me and that's the way we did it in the 50's.
