Hi Haas,

It should look something like the common chrome flywheel covers that are
easily available over here, but they are all for small block Chevy V8's
-- with automatics.

I found two covers at a garage sale recently that I'm hoping will fit
mine. I need to put a new clutch in my truck sometime in the next
several months anyway, so I should know for sure after that; if one fits
mine, maybe the other will fit yours. I have a 4 speed, so if that
makes a difference, I hope somebody chimes in. You could have it for
shipping from the U.S.A., but I won't know too soon.

I have been driving my truck for years, lots of dirt roads, with out the
cover, so I wouldn't worry too much. I've just always been afraid a
piece of gravel would bounce up as I was stepping on the clutch and get
in between the plates.

Hi guys,

I have a question which could be quite easy for some of you to answer. I
have a
'58 Apache with a 283 and a three speed manual gearbox. When I look
under the
truck there is no cover between the transmission and the engine. In
other words
I am looking directly at the flywheel and the clutch. Could any of you
tell or
show me what the cover should look like ?

Should there be a plate between the engine and the transmission to cover
the
front side (from vehicle point of view) of the flywheel and a separate
cover on
teh transmission side? Or is it one cover that covers the complete
clutch and
flywheel front and back ?

<I think it's one part.>

I hope you guys can help. I live in Holland, Europe and '58 Apaches with
my
engine/transmission combination do not exactly drive by on a daily basis
!

Thanks
