[oletrucks] lowering front end

just wondering how much you could lower the front end of a stock ad before 
running into too many problems with the steering.  also what are the 
advantages and disadvantages of the common methods (dropped axles, 
monoleafs, etc.) also how would you cure whatever problems would arise?
just wanting to know what i would be getting into before i start getting 
over my head.
