I purchased my A/C from Old Air after returning the 20" wide evaporator
box that was supposed to fit in the 18.5" space behind the dash in my
'57 GMC. Old Air's fit fine.
I am not real impressed with the amount of heat it generates, although
you and I are both in Houston where it is not as important as the A/C.
The guy I dealt with was Johnny Cosgrove. He seemed very knowledgeable
of his product. If you'd like to take a look at my setup before
ordering let me know.
