OOOOOOOPS!!!!

The message I sent below was missing a few words.  The too large
evaporator was from Vintage Air.  They claimed it was the proper unit
for my truck, but there was no way it was going to fit in the allotted
space.  After much hassle with them I returned it and purchased on that
fit from Old Air.

I purchased my A/C from Old Air after returning the 20" wide evaporator
box that was supposed to fit in the 18.5" space behind the dash in my
'57 GMC.  Old Air's fit fine.  
I am not real impressed with the amount of heat it generates, although
you and I are both in Houston where it is not as important as the A/C.
The guy I dealt with was Johnny Cosgrove.  He seemed very knowledgeable
of his product.  If you'd like to take a look at my setup before
ordering let me know.
