Why would you have to know how to do body work in order to do the body
work? I've never let not knowing how to do something from giving it a try.
I did not know how to build a house before I started mine (of course it has
taken forever and is not necessarily the best job . . . ; ) ). Some
aspects of body work are not that bad. Even I have figured out how to do
some of it. I'm trying to learn how to weld so that I can fix my cab
corners.

Of course, smarter people than me would probably hire someone who know what
they are doing to do it right the first time. . . . And I look at my truck
STILL scattered around the barn in pieces . . . Perhaps you are better off
looking for an expert after all. I may not live long enough to complete my
truck and I'm only 48. My first welding job looked fairly good, until it
broke upon first use.

Raymond, I forgot to ask; how badly is the cab cut up? Is it repairable
without major surgery? I don't know how to do bodywork, so would have to
have
it done. Bob K in PHX,AZ
