Thanks to all who posted messages to me regarding the manifold.  A couple of
resources surfaced that might be of interest to list members.  Here is a
link that shows the intake manifold casting numbers.  It has other casting
numbers as well:  http://www.nastyz28.com/sbcmenu.html  This link shows the
manifold in question to be
1966-67 3872783 327  4 iron  Holley A B X/275hp, w/o AIR, srvc. repl.

I don't know what srvc repl means (service replacement???).  Perhaps it was
a dealer installed option?

Another useful site was http://www.chevymania.com/casting/INTAKE.HTM that
showed the following:
3872783 4-Brl 66-67 220, 275 & 300hp  HOLLEY 283/327.

General consensus is this particular manifold was used on 283 and 327
engines and employed a Holley carburetor.

Any idea how to find out WHICH Holley carb would have been used in the
220hp, 275hp, or 300hp engine?
