As some you know I have been searching for a 4.10 ratio rearend to
replace my stock 1949 3/4ton 4.57:1 ratio. The only one that will work
is one from a 1967 - 1972 Chevy C20 3/4 ton. After almost two years of
looking, Jeff from Bow Tie Bits gave me a lead on a source. Thanks to
Marilyn at www.bowtiebits.com (a list member) who kept bugging and
cajoling the guy, who had access to a complete 4.10 third member, I am
now the happy owner of the very hard to find rearend. If any of you
guys (and Gals) want to have some first class service on any of your
