Mike--

That panel truck weight is for the one ton, isn't it? (model 3805).
THe lalf ton panel (3105) should weigh about 3600.

Hey, that reminds me...I have the Chevy specs for 59 trucks...and it
lists the weights!

Shipping weight for a 59 Suburban (3106, with doors instead of tailgate)
is 3780, and curb weight is 3920. Tailgate model 3116 adds 15 lbs.

As a curiousity, my long bed fleetside truck should weigh 3600 in
original condition, according to the specs. But it actually weights
4000, probably because of the big engine, tranny, and rearend I've
installed.
