Thanks for the info and your right. I went and looked at the van today and
although I couldn't get to the rear end to measure, I did notice the lug
pattern was larger than what I was expecting. I know the TF front is wider
because I have to have the MII front end lengthened.

The pickup IFS of the same vintage will not easily fit under a TF truck.

It fits under an AD truck with some work, but the track width is too wide.
I've not measured a TF so I don't know the required track width, but I
understand the frame is too wide to use the later crossmember.

The rear might be more easily adapted to the TF, but be aware that the bolt
pattern is the large GM 5-lug, which is different than what most Chevy cars
have.

Does anyone know if the front suspenion from a 1982 chevy van with a 305
will work under my 55 TF?
A friend of mine has one i can get cheap.
Will the front end work, will the steering wheel work? How about the rear
end Will it fit under my TF? I havn't gotten over to measure the van
yet,,,hopefully i can do that tomoorow.
