If it were me I'd sell the 348 to someone who wanted the look of that motor,
and run something better suited to your intended usage.  The 388, a big
block, a big Buick or Pontiac or maybe a Cadillac.  But that's me.  Its your
truck.

I hate what the last guy did to the grill, but that's coming off and a repro
chrome one ...or maybe even some other sort of mesh grill will go on there.
Any suggestions?

That flat bed was obviously home made, but not a bad job at all. One guy
speculated he used it as a welding equipment truck.

Anyone else running a 348?  What's the good and bad points of rebuilding
this 348 and using it? I know...parts are harder to find and more expensive
for starters.
