These are great suggestions.  I was just thinking of saying something like, "
My word, I can't believe he sold it to me for $150.00!"  "It has given me a
guilt complex, like stealing candy from a baby!"

She knows they are worth more than that, or I could tell her the
impossible..."I traded some of those old guns in the gun safe for it!"  That
would get me off the hook for sure, or at least confuse her.
