I haven't tried those products, but I have been using Fram's oil filters
with Teflon. With Castrol synthetic blend 10-30 oil, my gas mileage on the
highway went up 14%. The bad news is Castrol says Teflon does bad things to
their oil. I checked with Quaker State. They say no problem with Teflon. In
fact, they bought Slick 50, a Teflon based oil additive. I haven't tried the
Quaker State oil yet-they suggest their 4X4 formula for my car (2000 Camry),
which probably sees 75-80 percent of it's miles on the highway. As soon as I
change oil to Quaker State, I'll run another mileage check. Bob K in PHX,
AZ.
