You don't want to over fill the engine with oil. I always fill the engine
with one quart less than the capacity. Then check the dipstick after you've
ran the engine, shut it down, and allowed time for the oil to return to the
oil pan. If you have too much oil, I've been told you can get foaming, and
lose lubricating qualities. And I change the oil after the first 500 miles.
Don't forget to prelube the engine with an electric drill . Bob K
